Pay Scale
- Basic Pay: Rs. 88,635/- per month (Scale: Rs. 88,635–1,69,025)

Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: Online, objective test (Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude/General Awareness, English Language – qualifying), 1 hour, negative marking for AAO Specialists/Legal (1/4th mark).
- Main Examination: Online, objective (Reasoning, General Awareness, Professional Knowledge, Data Analysis for AAO Generalist) + descriptive (Professional Knowledge except AAO Generalist, English – qualifying), 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Interview: 60 marks, qualifying marks (30 for UR/EWS/OBC, 27 for SC/ST/PwBD), final merit based on Main Exam + Interview.
- Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination: Mandatory for shortlisted candidates to confirm medical fitness.
