IIT GATE 2026 Online Form – Apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, IIT Guwahati Notification
Posted on: August 28, 2025The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 has been officially announced by IIT Guwahati. Eligible male and female candidates can apply online from 28th August 2025 to 26th September 2025 (Phase I). An extended period with late fees is available till 9th October 2025. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria, exam dates, application fees and other details before applying.

Photo & Document Instructions
- Photograph: Face should cover at least 75%, latest passport size, white background.
- Sign: Draw 2 cm × 7 cm box on the A4 sheet, sign with black/blue pen.
- Thumb impression: Draw 3 cm × 5 cm box on the A4 sheet and Mark clearly left the thumb impression.
How to Apply for IIT GATE 2026 Online Form
- Visit the official GATE 2026 website at https://gate.iitg.ac.in.
- Register and fill out the online application form between 28 August – 26 September 2025.
- Read the full notification carefully before applying.
- Keep documents ready: scanned photo, signature, thumb impression, ID proof, eligibility details etc.
- Pay the application fee as per category. Applications without fee payment will be rejected.
- Preview the application form carefully and then submit.
- Take a printout of the final submitted form for future reference.
