JPSC Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025 – Apply Online
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has published the notification for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) – 2024 under Advertisement No. 08/2025. The test is a prerequisite for becoming an Assistant Professor and for Ph.D. studies in the Universities and Colleges of Jharkhand. It will be conducted in offline OMR (pen-paper) mode. Those candidates who qualify for the test will be awarded a JET certificate which is valid for life.

Selection & Result
- Mode of Examination: Offline OMR-based with two papers.
- Qualifying Marks for UR/EWS candidates: 40% aggregate.
- Qualifying Marks for SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II/PwBD candidates: 35% aggregate.
- Result Declaration: Top 6% of candidates will qualify in accordance with the reservation policy.
- Answer Key: Provisional answer key will be released and challenges can be submitted with a fee of Rs. 200 per question.
Examination Pattern
- The examination will be conducted in offline OMR (pen and paper) mode.
- The test consists of two papers with objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Paper I carries 100 marks with 50 questions.
- Paper II carries 200 marks with 100 questions.
- The total duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) without any break between papers.
- Each question is allotted 2 marks.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- No marks will be awarded for questions left blank or not attempted.
- For multiple correct options, the marks are given if a candidate gives any one of the correct options.
- If a question is omitted because of mistakes, all candidates who attempted it will get 2 marks.
How to Apply for JPSC JET 2025
- Go to the official JPSC portal and click on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal to register with your mobile number and email and remember the generated OTR number.
- Log in with your OTR username and password and reach the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025 online application form.
- Enter all the personal, academic and contact details correctly in the application form.
- Scan documents as indicated: photograph (10–200 KB, JPG), signature (4–30 KB, JPG), Master’s marksheet and the relevant certificates (category, resident, PwBD etc.).
- Pay the application fee based on your category (UR: Rs. 575, BC-I/BC-II/EWS: Rs. 300, SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: Rs. 150) using online payment methods like Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI or Wallet.
- After payment, download and print the confirmation page for your records and future reference.

JPSC Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025 Online Registration Starts for the candidates on 16th September 2025 while the last date is 6th October 2025 for submission. They are allowed to pay the required fee and then submit the form for the period mentioned.
Master’s degree holders in the respective subject and a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for JPSC JET 2025. Reserved category candidates are given the benefits of government norms.
