Online applications have been invited from eligible Indian citizens to fill up 447 regular positions as follows: Assistant Manager (HR&A) – 20 posts, Assistant Manager (F&A) – 26 posts and Junior Engineer (Electrical) Gr.-II – 401 posts for the entire West Bengal state. Selection Process
- Candidates will first take a Computer Based Test (CBT) to assess their knowledge and skills relevant to the post.
- Once the candidates are shortlisted from the CBT, they will be called for a Personal Interview to assess their Suitability and overall Competency.
- Successful candidates will go through Document Verification to verify whether all submitted certificates, qualifications and identity are valid.
- Selected candidates shall undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination to certify their fitness for the assigned role.
- On the basis of performances in the CBT, interview and verification, a final merit list will be prepared and appointments will take place accordingly.

- Click on the Apply Online button to New Registration and register with a valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Note down your system generated Registration Number/User ID and Password sent on your email/ mobile.
- Log in with the Registration Number and Password to fill the complete online application form.
- Enter personal information, educational records, experience and other required details carefully.
- Upload your recent passport-size colour photograph, signature, required documents (Domicile Certificate, Caste/ EWS/ PwBD/ EC Card etc. as applicable) in the prescribed format and size.
- Pay the application fee online (if applicable) by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
- Preview the application in its entirety and submit it finally. Subsequently, print the completed application form for future reference.

Eligible candidates should be an Indian citizen and must possess minimum prescribed qualifications against each post as given below. The educational qualifications for Assistant Manager (HR&A/F&A) position is a graduate degree with an MBA or equivalent qualifications while candidates applying for Junior Engineer (Electrical) Gr.-II must possess at least a 3-year diploma in Electrical Engineering.
The WBSEDCL Recruitment 2023 online registration will be activated from November 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM onwards and shall remain open till December 29, 2025 at 11:55 PM. Candidates are required to complete the registration along with document upload and fee payment, whichever applicable, by this date. Hence candidates are advised to submit their application well in advance without waiting for the last date.
The selection methodology comprises Computer Based Tests (CBT), followed by personal interview, verification of candidate’s documents and completion of pre-employment medical examination. Only the candidates who are shortlisted based on performance in the CBT and the interview will be considered for appointment.
