Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has declared the BTSC Recruitment 2026 on the posts of Pump Operator and Work Inspector (Mechanical) in the Public Health Engineering Department under the state of Bihar. Applications may be done online starting December 12, 2025 through January 12, 2026. Pay Scale
- Both Posts: Level-2 in 7th Revised Pay Structure (Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- approx.)
Selection Process
- Written Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT): The test will be made of 100 questions in the form of objectives.
- Time of examination: The test will be administered to last 2 hours whereby negative marking will be done at 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR -40, BC-36.5, EBC-34, SC/ST/Women/PwD-32.
- Score Normalization: When evaluation is done in more than one shift the results will be normalised so that there can be fair results.
- Document Verification and Final Merit List: CBT shortlisted candidates will be subject to document verification and final merit list will be drawn category wise.
