UPSSSC Lekhpal Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 7994 Posts
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has released advertisement number 02-Exam/2025 for the Lekhpal Main Exam (P.A.P.-2025)/01. Applications are invited online by the Indian citizens to fill a total 7994 vacant Lekhpal positions under the Revenue Council, Uttar Pradesh. This is an opportunity that can be exploited by the candidates who wish to obtain Government PSC Jobs. The candidates must have the necessary essential qualifications and have already taken the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) with a score card issued to be eligible to apply. Selection Process
- The candidates should also have passed the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) when the normalized score is above zero to apply.
- UPSSSC shortlists candidates for the Main Written Examination based on normalized PET-2025 merit scores.
- Shortlisted candidates take an objective-type Main Written Examination.
- Development of merit list, depending on the results in the Main Written Examination.
- Document checks and medical checkup of the candidates who are in the final merit list.

- Open the homepage, access the “Live Advertisements” tab and choose “Advertisement No. 02-Exam/2025” for complete recruitment information.
- Read the notification in details to ensure that one is eligible and to be aware of instructions.
- The application link will be accessible on the internet since December 29, 2025.
- Use your PET-2025 Registration Number and authenticate with an OTP to your registered mobile/email.
- Complete details (PET will be automatically filled in) such as educational qualifications and other required information.
- Photo confirmation, signature (autofilled), preferential qualifications and address information.
- Accept the declaration, fill-in the verification code, payment of fee is done safely using online methods or SBI E-Challan, check all the information and submit the form.
- Once the fees are successfully reconciled (where applicable), download and print the application form submitted and the fee receipt as a reference in future.
FAQs
Applicants with a valid score card of 2025 in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) and normalized score of more than zero are eligible. They have to have Intermediate (10 + 2) or equivalent by a recognized board. PET candidates who are provisionally or under-investigated can apply on a provisional basis. Preferential qualification incorporates in case of ties Territorial Army service or NCC certificate of the B type.
Online application will commence on December 29, 2025 and the final date of application and payment of fee is January 28, 2026. Applicants will have a maximum time to correct or change charges before February 4, 2026. It is also recommended to submit earlier to prevent technical problems at the last moment and make submissions without problems.
It has the lowest application fee of all at an online processing fee of Rs. 25/- regardless of the category such as the General, OBC, SC and ST among others. One can pay through net banking, cards, UPI or SBI e-challan. There will be a different and additional exam fee to candidates shortlisted in the main examination.
