District Child Protection Unit (DCPS), Chatra has announced a recruitment process under the Mission Vatsalya Child Protection Scheme for qualified Indian citizens. Selection Process
- Applications can be sent only in prescribed manner through Registered Post Speed Post.
- All applications will be scrutinized by District Level Selection Committee.
- Verification of educational qualifications as well as experience certificates and supporting documents will be done.
- Those eligible will be shortlisted based on merit as well as concerning experience.
- Final selection shall be made through interview and committee approval.

- Fill in the required details accurately in the application form.
- Attach necessary documents including educational certificates, experience proof, age proof, residential certificate and identity proof.

Applicants are to fill out the Chatra district official application form which is available on the Chatra district web page and send it either by Registered Post or by Speed Post. It must be forwarded with the necessary documents like educational degrees, experience evidence and identity information to the District Child Protection Unit, Chatra, before January 05, 2026.
The age criteria is different according to the post. In case of Protection Officer, Counsellor and Accountant, the age range is 30 to 45 years. In the case of Outreach Worker, it is between 21-35 years. Age will be determined as of August 01, 2025. Before applying, it is necessary to make sure that the candidates do not exceed the limits set down.
The process of selection includes examination of the applications, certification and short-listing according to merit and experience. The shortlisted will be then called to an interview.
