NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card – Released

National Testing Agency (NTA) has published Admit Card on the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 Examination. Computer Based Test (CBT) will be on December 18, 2025 in two shifts. The process of application to the examination began on September 25, 2025 and ended on October 27, 2025. The Admit Card will now be downloadable on the official site using the Application Number and the Password/Date of Birth by the candidates who are preparing to take Scientist Government Jobs in india. This is a national level test that identifies the eligibility in Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Lectureship / Assistant Professor and PhD admission.

  • General / OBC:  Min. 55% marks in M.Sc. or equivalent.
  • SC / ST / PwD:  Min. 50% marks.
  • Integrated Course, B.E. / B.Tech / B.Pharma / MBBS candidates are
    eligible.
Life Sciences
  •  Min. 55% (General / OBC) and 50% (SC / ST / PwD) in relevant
    subject.
Mathematical Sciences
  •  Min. 55% (General / OBC) and 50% (SC / ST / PwD) in relevant
    subject.
Physical Sciences
  • Min. 55% (General / OBC) and 50% (SC / ST / PwD) in relevant
    subject.
Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sci
  • Min. 55% (General / OBC) and 50% (SC / ST / PwD) in relevant
    subject.

Age Limit

  • For JRF: Maximum 30 Years (as per NTA/CSIR rules; age relaxation applicable).
  • For Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

Application Fee

  • General: Rs 1,150/-
  • OBC/EWS: Rs 600/-
  • SC/ST/PwD: Rs 325/-

  • Online Only (through the official NTA portal at csirnet.nta.ac.in or nta.ac.in)

Selection Process

  • Single stage Computer Based Test CBT of objective type.
  • Paper is divided into Part A (General Aptitude), Part B and Part C (Subject – specific).
  • Separate merit lists for JRF and Lectureship (LS) / Assistant Professor.
  • JRF offered to leading candidates based on cutoff and fellows.
  • Last-eligibility was decided by NTA/CSIR/UGC on the basis of marks obtained.

Steps to Check and Download NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card

  • Visit the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in
  • On the homepage search the latest news or candidate login.
  • Click on the logout link Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card.
  • You will be redirected to the portal of logging in.
  • Write down the Application Number.
  • Password/ Date of Birth: Enter your Password (created during registration) or Date of Birth
  • Enter Security Pin/Captcha Code.
  • Click on “Sign In” or “Submit”
  • Your Admit Card will be displayed on the screen with an information such as exam centre, date and shift and instructions.
  • Print out Admit Card (required to enter the exams)
  • Check all the information; call NTA helpline in case of any discrepancy.

According to NTA UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card notification, the candidates will be allowed to download their admit card through the official NTA site.
