IIT JAM Admit Card 2026 – Released

Admit card for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 examination, organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, the organizing institute, is declared. As the national-level entrance examination for admission to the various postgraduate academic programs such as M.Sc., Dual Degree M.Sc.-Ph.D., Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research) etc. in IITs, IISC Bengaluru and the participating institutions, it remains a major opportunity for science students in pursuing their further education, as well as knowing about jobs in the Central Government in India, since the CBT process remains scheduled for February 15, 2026.

- Scholarship/Stipend: Eligible M.Sc. students may receive financial assistance through Merit-cum-Means scholarships.
- Research Fellowships: Students integrated into Ph.D. programs are eligible for JRF stipends ranging from Rs. 37,000/- to Rs. 42,000/- per month.
- Career Prospects: Graduates often secure placements with starting packages ranging from Rs. 6,00,000/- to Rs. 15,00,000/- per annum.

Selection Process
- Applicants have to sit for an online test of 3 hours duration comprising MCQ, MSQ and NAT type questions.
- All India Rank is prepared on the basis of the resulting scores of the entrance exam.
- The cut off marks are determined for each category of subjects individually by the organizing authority of the IIT exams.
- Only qualified candidates can apply for admission through the JOAPS portal for seat allotment.
- The process of admission gets completed after the verification of the academic and category certificates by the admitting institution.
Steps to Check and Download IIT JAM Admit Card 2026
- To register online for the IIT JAM 2026 exam, you will need to log on to the official website of the
- Finalize the new user registration process with a proper email ID and mobile number.
- Access the JOAPS examination portal by signing in with your Enrollment ID and the password generated at the time of registration.
- Fill in your personal details carefully and educational information in the online application form. Also, ensure that you mention your address in the correspondence correctly.
- Choose only one or a maximum of two test papers as per eligibility and preference.
- Select three test centers of preference from the given list.
- Digitally upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature and category certificate, if any.
- Pay application fee by making use of the online payment option provided.
- Carefully consider all of the information entered before finalizing the application.
- Download and print copies of the form that has been submitted for further use.
