FMGE December Admit Card 2026 – Released

National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences, named NBEMS, has officially published the admit card for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, FMGE, for the December 2025 session. Candidates who have obtained their primary medical qualifications from foreign countries have applied for this Screening Exam, which they can now download from the official website. This Screening Exam has immense significance for candidates applying for Central Government Jobs in India in the medical field.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Either Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Medical Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree obtained from a recognized
    foreign institution.
  • Embassy Verification: Verification of medical degree has to be done by the Indian
    Embassy of the respective country.
  • FMGE Exemption: Candidates who have completed both UG and PG medical
    degrees from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, or the USA are exempt
    from appearing in the FMGE.

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS/SC/ST: Rs. 6,195/- (Inclusive of GST)
  • Payment Mode: Online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Pay Scale

  • Stipend: FMGE-qualified interns receive a stipend as per state or institutional norms.
  • Salary: After registration, monthly pay generally ranges from Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- depending on the employer.

Selection Process

  • Candidates must take the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
  • The examination is conducted through computer-based tests comprising two sections: Part A and Part B.
  • A total of 300 multiple-choice questions are being asked, carrying one mark each
  • Candidates must secure at least 50 percent of the total marks to qualify the exam.
  • Qualified candidates become eligible for provisional or permanent registration with the National Medical Commission or the State Medical Council.

Steps to Check and Download FMGE Admit Card 2026

  • Visit the official website of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in
  • Click on the “Examinations” section that appears on the home page.
  • Select FMGE – Foreign Medical Graduate Examination from the list.
  • Please register yourself with a valid Email ID & Mobile Number.
  • Sign in by entering your User ID and Password.
  • Fill up the form of FMGE with personal, academic and contact details.
  • Upload required documents such as photograph, signature and eligibility documents.
  • Pay the mandatory application fee using the online payment option available.
  • Review carefully all information entered before final submission.
  • Applicants will submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future use.
