SSC MTS Exam Date 2026 – Released

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has launched the examination schedule for the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination,2025 to fill 7,948 vacancies in different government departments under the Government of India, providing a substantial chance for job seekers to secure Central Government Jobs in India; the computer-based test examination is going to be held from February 4 to February 15, 2026 and those who have already submitted their applications can now check their exam dates and city intimation by entering their Registration Number and Date of Birth on the website of SSC.

• Online Application Start Date: June 26, 2025
• Online Application Last Date: July 24, 2025
• Last Date for Fee Payment: July 25, 2025
• Application Correction Window: July 29, 2025 to July 31, 2025
• New Correction Date: August 4, 2025 to August 6, 2025
• Exam Date (CBT): February 4, 2026 to February 15, 2026
• Admit Card Release Date: Before the Examination

Age Limit (as on August 1, 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age (MTS & Havaldar in CBN): 25 Years
• Maximum Age (Havaldar in CBIC & few MTS posts): 27 Years

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 100/-
• SC / ST / PH: Nil.
• All Category Female: Nil.

Pay Scale

• Pay Level: Pay Level-1 according to the Pay Matrix of 7 th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
• Basic Pay Scale: Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 56,900/- per month.

Physical Standards (Havaldar Post Only)

Selection Process

• Computer Based Test (CBT) administered by the Staff Selection Commission to evaluate general aptitude, reasoning and awareness.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) can be used only in Havaldar posts.
• SCS decided the shortlisting of the candidates on the basis of performance and cut-off marks.
• Verification of Documents in order to verify the eligibility, age, category and educational qualifications.
• The final choice will be made under the conditions of successful verification and the accomplishment of all identified conditions.

Steps to Check and Download SSC MTS Exam Date 2026

• Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at www.ssc.gov.in
• Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered on the SSC portal.
• Log in using your Registration ID and password.
• Go to the SSC MTS / Havaldar Examination 2025 application.
• Official notification should be carefully read and followed.
• Complete the online application form using the correct personal, education and contact information.
• Post scanned images of photograph and signature according to SSC requirements.
• Choose the desired examination centres and make a post (MTS / Havaldar).
• Apply the application online using the available modes of payment, should there be any payment.
• Send the application form and download the confirmation page and retain a printed copy of the same.
