Selection Process
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) consists of a race of 1600m for males and/or 800m for females and a long jump with a maximum of 40 marks
- Medical Examination assesses the candidates’ vision standards and freedom from physical ailments/deformities
- Physical Standard Test (PST) checks height, weight and chest measurement as per the norms of recruitment
- Written Test has 100 MCQs for 50 marks in the subjects of Arithmetic, English, Logical Reasoning and Assam History and Geography
- Oral Interview and NCC Weightage gives a maximum of 5 marks for the interview as well as additional marks according to the certificate level of the NCC
