Compensation Details
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 75,000/- distributed as a fixed consolidation during the first 2 years of work duty.
- Regular Scale of Pay: Rs. 86,245 – Rs. 2,08,915/- per month (Time Scale of Pay: Rs. 86245-2900-100745-3350-117495-3725-136120-4155-156895-4550-179645-4850-203895-5020-208915 as per RPS-2022) applicable post-probation.
- Project Allowance for Thermal Stations: Rs. 19,550/- paid monthly based on station criteria.
- Project Allowance for Hydel Stations: Rs. 21,360/- allocated monthly.
- Additional Allowance for Project of Sileru Complex: Rs. 31,580/-
- Shift Operations Allowance: Rs. 5,410/- to employees working under rotating shifts.
- Conveyance Allowance: Rs. 1,375/- as monthly conveyance allowance.

- Standard Processing and Examination Fee: Rs. 1,000/- must be paid via the online gateway during registration.
- Mode of Payment: Payment shall be made solely through an integrated system of online bank, credit card or debit card.
- Refund Policy: The fees submitted for the processing of the recruitment applications shall not be refundable under any circumstances
Recruitment Procedure for APGENCO AEE Recruitment 2026
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Candidates will have to pass an online exam of 100 marks which is conducted for 3 hours according to APGENCO syllabus and exam pattern. The examination consists of discipline specific core engineering section of 70 marks and general section of 30 marks comprising of Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English and Basic Computer.
- Clause for Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the evaluation process.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: The minimum qualifying marks required for General/EWS category is 40%, BC Category 35% and SC/ST/PwBD Category 30% to secure such coveted government jobs in Andhra Pradesh.
