Qualification Criteria for DRDO ACEM Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Graduate Apprentice (Engineering)
  • The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject
    with B.E. or B.Tech.
Graduate Apprentice (Sci & Comm.)
  • Applicants must possess a B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry), B.Com. or BLIS
    degree from an approved institution.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma)
  • Candidates must possess a three-year state-board engineering diploma in
    their corresponding fields.
Passing Year Limit
  • Only fresh graduates and diploma holders who completed their courses in
    2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible.
Experience Restriction
  • Individuals who have undergone prior training or hold more than 12
    months of professional experience are excluded.

Remuneration Details

  • Graduate Apprentice Stipend: Rs. 12,300/- Per Month
  • Technician Apprentice (Diploma) Stipend: Rs. 10,900/- Per Month

Recruitment Procedure for DRDO ACEM Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Submission Process for DRDO ACEM Apprentice Recruitment 2026

  • Enroll at the NATS 2.0 website www.nats.education.gov.in and get your registration number
  • Visit to the official website at www.drdo.gov.in
  • Go to Vacancy section for the Engagement of Apprentices for the year 2026-27.
  • Print and fill out the application form by typing all the details legibly.
  • Paste your recent passport-size photo and sign the application form.
  • Include the University/College formula sheet for converting CGPA to percentage along with other documents.
  • Generate one PDF file from your application form and all other documentation together.
  • Please send an email of your PDF file to apprentice.acem@gov.in before the last date.
  • Your email ID should be valid and functional for any future communication.
  • You will have to download the offer letter by yourself once it is sent to you; ACEM will not provide hard copies.

Important Notes

  • Hard Copies Not Accepted: Please do not submit any hard copy of the application
  • Mode of Correspondence: The correspondence would be only done through electronic mode
  • Emails Responsibility: Candidates should have proper email ids; there would be no responsibility of ACEM for emails being received in spam/bulk emails folder
  • Accommodation Facility: No accommodation or hostels or travel facility will be provided to the apprentices during training
  • Employment Guarantee: No employment guarantee would be provided by ACEM at the end of apprenticeship training

FAQs

Only the engineering fresh graduates, science/commerce degree holders and the diploma candidates who have graduated from their respective courses in 2024, 2025 and 2026 will be considered eligible. Candidates with professional work experience exceeding one year are not eligible to apply.

The candidates need to first register themselves on NATS 2.0 platform. Post that, they will be required to fill up the prescribed application form online and sign and mail their signed application form along with the certificate in a PDF format at apprentice.acem@gov.in.

The selected candidates are entitled to get a fixed monthly stipend depending upon their level of qualification. For Graduate Apprentices in engineering, commerce and science disciplines, the stipend of Rs. 12,300/- is given per month and for Technician Diploma Apprentices, Rs. 10,900/- is given per month.
