• Selection will be through Screening Examination (Objective Type) and Personality Test/Interview.
• The Screening Examination will have objective type questions and for each question there will be four alternative answers.
• One-third (0.33) of the marks will be awarded for each incorrect response and 0 marks will be awarded for each question that is not answered.
• Candidates who qualify the Screening Examination will proceed to the Interview stage.
• The final merit list will be prepared with the help of 75% weightage given to the Screening Examination and 25% weightage given to the Interview.
• The minimum efficiency standards are applicable for which SC/ST candidates must obtain 35 per cent marks and other category candidates must obtain 40 per cent marks in the Screening Examination.
• The Commission’s determination of eligibility, screening and final selection of candidates shall be final.
• The selected candidates will be appointed as Government medical colleges under Government Jobs in UP that will add to the medical education workforce of the state.

• Age Proof: Higher Secondary/High School Certificate with date of birth
• Educational Certificates: Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification certificates that establish necessary and preferred qualifications
• Caste certificate: For SC/ST/OBC candidates or EWS certificate issued by competent authority in prescribed form is called Category Certificate.
• Disability Certificate: For candidates who are claiming benefits for Persons with Disabilities, issued as per the prescribed Medical Board Format.
• Ex-Servicemen and Sports Certificates: If the candidate belongs to the Ex-Servicemen and Sports category then the release/achievement certificate issued by the service and sports organization respectively will be applicable.
• NOC: Candidates holding a job at Central or State Government as of the date of interview.
• Original certificates: Original certificates are required to be produced for verification at the time of the interview and attested passport size photos are required.
