Candidates Selection Process for HP High Court Recruitment 2026

• Librarian: The recruitment of librarian by means of an examination based on merit principle as per Schedule-IV (Part-G) of the R & P Rules is carried out through merit list by means of marks obtained in the written test.
• Shortlisting of Group-D Candidates: In the ratio of 1:3.
• Marks of Matric: Convert matric marks into total of 85 so that 50 percent would mean 42.5 marks.
• Marks for Evaluation: 15 marks awarded for documents as per Schedule-IV (Part-T).
• Evaluation Heads Part-One: Backward Area/Panchayat – 1 mark; landless family/Land Below 1 Hectare – 2 marks; non-employment certificate – 2.5 marks; 40 percent plus disability – 1 mark.
• Evaluation Points Part Two: NSS, NCC, Scouts & Guides or National Sports Medal – 1 mark; BPL family having yearly income less than Rs. 40,000/- – 2.5 marks; Widowed, Divorcee, Destitute or Single Woman – 1 mark; daughter/orphaned daughter – 1.5 marks; Govt. Service – 0.5 marks/year max 2.5 marks.
• Final Merit: Merit will be decided according to marks of education + Evaluation.

Remuneration Details

The chosen candidates will get salary as per the prevailing pay matrix.

• Librarian: Pay Level 09 – Rs. 35,600/- to Rs. 1,12,800/-
• Peon: Pay Level 01 – Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 56,900/-

• This notice does not include an independent syllabus. For this reason, the aspirants will be required to refer to Part G of Schedule IV of the R&P Rules, which can be found on the website of the High Court.
