Eligibility Requirements by Position for ESIC Lucknow Recruitment 2026

Age Limits by Post

• Specialists: Maximum 67 years.
• Senior Residents: Maximum 45 years.
• Ayurveda/Homeopathy Physicians: Maximum 35 years.

Pay Package by Position

• Full Time Specialist: Rs. 67,700/- basic pay plus DA, HRA and other applicable benefits.
• Senior Resident: Rs. 67,700/- basic pay plus DA, HRA and other applicable benefits.
• Part Time Specialist: Rs. 60,000/- fixed monthly remuneration.
• Ayurveda Physician: Rs. 50,000/- per month.
• Homeopathy Physician: As per applicable ESIC remuneration rules.

Fee Structure for Applicants

• SC/ST/PWD/Female/ESIC/Ex-Servicemen: Nil.
• Other Candidates: Rs. 500/-.
• Payment Mode: Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund A/c No. 1, payable at Lucknow.
• Refund: The fee remains non-refundable.

Selection Method for ESIC Lucknow Recruitment 2026

• The selection process includes only a walk-in interview at ESIC Hospital, Sarojini Nagar with no written examination.

• Reservation Certificates: Caste certificate for SC, ST and OBC (NCL) candidates, OBC certificate should be issued on the Central Government format and should be less than one year old.
• EWS Documents: Latest EWS certificate in the Central Government format within a year of its issuance and Income and Asset Certificate as on DoPT letter dated 31st January 2019

Contract Terms and Service Conditions After Selection

• Selected candidates should submit Demand Draft of Rs. Security deposit on joining Rs. 10,000/- in favour of ESI Fund Account No.1 to be paid at Lucknow.
• A Senior Resident that resigns within six months of joining will forfeit this deposit and the hospital will not consider any requests for a refund.
• An indemnity bond of Rs. minimum equal to the sum is to be provided by specialists. 20 Lakhs
• All contracts are purely contractual and selected doctors can’t claim regular service in hospital.
• No private practice whatsoever and doctor should not be employed in two ESIC hospitals or institutions simultaneously.
• The hospital does not pay for candidates to attend the interview and the candidates are responsible for their own travel expenses
• If the hospital has an unfilled vacancy and no eligible SR candidate appears in that category, the hospital can fill the vacancy with other qualified SRs for 39 days.

• Visit the official ESIC website at www.esic.gov.in
• Click on “Recruitment” and choose the advertisement “Walk in Interview for recruitment of the post of full time/part time Specialists and Senior Residents on contract basis for ESIC Hospital, Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow“.
• Please read the entire notification carefully before applying with details of qualification for the different posts, age limit, salary and general instructions.
• Download and print the notification and Annexure-A which contains an application form and undertaking page.
