AAI Regional Headquarters (North Eastern Region), Guwahati Application is invited for filling up Apprentice (95) post at North Eastern Region from the eligible and desirous candidates. There are Graduate Apprentice, Diploma Apprentice & ITI Trade Apprentice positions available in this batch. Candidates interested and eligible may apply online through NATS/NAPS portal till July 28, 2026. The one year apprenticeship training program will be conducted at various airports in the North Eastern Region as per Apprentices Act, 1961. This is an official Airports authority of India recruitment campaign that will offer a structured monthly stipend ranging between Rs. 9,600/- to Rs. 15,000/- based on different academic streams. - Shortlisting on the Basis of Merit: The first stage of selection depends solely on the marks gained by the aspirants in their qualifying engineering degree/technical diploma or ITI trades examination in terms of percentages.

The training program is open to only those candidates who have a permanent resident or domicile status in the North Eastern Region. Eligible states include Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates hailing from other regions of India will not be able to apply for these training posts.
Monthly stipends are different for different qualifications. A graduate apprentice gets Rs. 15,000/-, technical diploma holder earns Rs. 12,000/-, while an ITI trade apprentice gets Rs. 9,600/-.
