Salary and Allowance Structure
- Medical Candidates: Rs. 67,700/- at Pay Level-11.
- NPA: Medical candidates receive NPA and applicable allowances.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Rs. 56,100/- at Pay Level-10.
- Other Allowances: Applicable allowances are provided as per Central Government rules.
- Tenure: The appointment remains valid for up to 3 years under the Central Residency Scheme.

Hiring Procedure for AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2026

- Candidates who arrive for Document Verification should be present from 8:00 AM and interview will begin at 9:00 AM and onwards.

Documents and Certificates Required
- No Objection Certificate: For those working in Central/State Govt/ Semi Govt/ Autonomous Institution/ PSUs is required and has to appear through proper channel and has to carry with him/her NOC for interview.
- OBC Certificate: Candidate needs to submit the DoPT format certificate clearly declaring the non-creamy layer status issued from or after 01 April 2026.
- EWS Certificate: Candidates need to provide a certificate issued on or after 1st April 2026, based on the Financial Year 2026-27, on the prescribed format.
- PwBD Certificate: A duly constituted Medical Board of a State or Central Government Hospital/Institution must sign the certificate and the Medical Superintendent must countersign it.
- Category/Age Relaxation Certificates: The candidates who apply under the AIIMS Guwahati Senior Resident 2026 must bring the certificates as per requirement in the process of document verification; else, it will not be accepted and the age relaxation will not be granted.
