Age Limit for Air Force Agniveer (Agnipath) Recruitment

Candidates whose date of birth falls between January 1, 2005 and July 1, 2008 (inclusive) are eligible to apply for the Air Force Agniveer (Agnipath) Recruitment.
For candidates who successfully clear all stages of the selection process, the upper age limit for enrolment into the Air Force Agniveer program is 21 years.

Benefits of Air Force Agniveer (Agnipath) Intake 01/2026

Indian youth aged between 17.5 and 21 years are eligible to apply for the Air Force Agniveer (Agnipath) scheme. Under the Agnipath scheme, selected candidates will serve in the Indian Air Force for a period of four years.
LIC (Life Insurance): Agniveers will receive life insurance coverage of ₹48 lakhs for the duration of their service in the Air Force.
Agniveer Skill Certificate: Upon completion of their service, Agniveers will be awarded a skill certification by the Indian Air Force.
Leave: Agniveers are entitled to 30 days of annual leave, along with medical leave based on doctor’s advice.
