Selection Process
- Applications shall be screened and shortlisted by a Screening-cum-Selection Committee based on the criteria already specified.
- The shortlisted candidates shall be called for a personal interaction/ interview.
- The decision of the Competent Authority shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained.

- Find and click on the notification regarding the “Advertisement for engagement of Consultant (Civil Engineer)”, to download the official notification as well as the application form (Annexure-I).
- Check your eligibility based on the advertisement and scope of work.
- Fill out the application form correctly mentioning details of educational qualifications, experience and PPO.
- Self-attested copies of relevant documents should be enclosed (certificates, mark sheets, age proof, PPO etc.).
- Superscribe the envelope with “Advertisement No. CSIR-CDRI/ 12/ 2025, APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSULTANT”.
- The application should be sent via speed post to the above address by October 15, 2025, 05:00 PM.
- During the selection process, original testimonials and educational certificates along with the PPO should be brought for verification.
FAQs
Candidates must fill out the application form (Annexure-I) available on the CSIR-CDRI website. The filled application, along with self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, PPO etc. should be sent via Speed Post to the Director, CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow, before the due date.
The consultant will advise on high-value projects, including arbitration matters above ₹350 crore. Other responsibilities involve reviewing past arbitration matters and consultancy for the Advanced Center for Laboratory Animal Science (ACLAS) at CSIR-CDRI.
No application fee. The engagement shall be on a contract basis and the candidates selected shall be paid a fixed honorarium according to their retirement scheme (OPS or NPS).
