IRCTC Apprentice Trainee (COPA) Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 45 Posts
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has announced the engagement of Apprentice Trainees in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade for FY 2025-26 at East Zone, Kolkata, under Apprenticeship Act-1961. Candidates with the required qualifications are invited to apply online through the portal by October 28, 2025. Selection process
- Merit list prepared based on percentage of marks in qualifying exams (average of highest and lowest in grading system).
- No written test or interview conducted.
- Candidates must upload scanned self-attested copies of essential documents, including 10th & ITI mark sheets/ certificates, NCVT/ SCVT trade certificate, valid proof of birth, caste/ EWS/ disability/ ex-servicemen certificate (as applicable) and a recent colour photograph (3.5×4.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 20–70 KB).
- Originals along with two self-attested photocopy sets must be produced during verification.
- Tie-breaker prefers older candidates by age; if still tied, earlier matriculation pass date.
- Final selection subject to verification of original documents and testimonials.
- Stand-by list used for vacancies from absentees or rejections in merit order.
- Schedule intimated via email; candidates must report promptly for verification.

The candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent survey with at least 50% marks and must have NCVT/SCVT ITI certificate in COPA trading. Candidates should also be willing to work at IRCTC offices in Kolkata. The cut-off date for qualifying and age is October 1, 2025.
