Application Fees

LIC AAO 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

A three-tiered process has been mentioned in the notification for the selection of LIC AAO posts. This includes:

Phase 1 or Preliminary Examination- Objective type exam(Online Mode). Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies in each category, subject to availability, will be shortlisted for the Mains examination.

Phase 2 or Main Examination- Objective Descriptive Exam(Both Online Mode). A descriptive Exam will be a qualifying.

1. Marks of English will not be counted for ranking in both Phase 1 and Phase 2.
2. Candidate MUST pass in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the online examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview.

• Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in the Main Examination + marks obtained in the Interview will be considered for the final merit listing of candidates.
• After the interview, candidates will be called for a medical examination too. Only Medically fit candidates will be considered for final appointment as per the rules.
