Hiring Process for UKSSSC Technician Grade II Recruitment 2026
- The commission shall hold single written test of 100 marks (offline multiple choice objective type).
- The duration of the paper will be 2 hours and the questions will be related to the qualification as laid down in the educational qualification for that post.
- Candidates in General, EWS and OBC category are required to obtain 45% marks in aggregate, whereas for candidates belonging to SC and ST category it is 35%.
- In the Commission, for each question of when the answer is given wrongly, 25 marks of are deducted from.
- Candidates can take home the question booklet after the examination, also hold the OMR sheet as the third copy.
- In ties, the commission draws up merit list by written examination marks, age & English alphabetical order.
- The candidates who are selected for the Final Selection will be appointed to the Government Jobs in Uttarakhand in the respective corporations on the basis of their merit and preferred selection.
Papers and Certificates Needed at the Time of Application
- High School Certificate and Aadhaar Card:High school mark sheet for name and date of birth. Both sides of Aadhaar card.
- Category Certificate: If claiming reservation, certificate from a competent authority stating that the candidate belongs to SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS category.

- Access the official website: www.sssc.uk.gov.in. and go to the “Candidate Corner”.
- Open the “Recruitment & Notification” section and select the advertisement titled Advertisement No. 83/UKSSSC/2026, then carefully read the full notification before applying.
- Fill out the registration with your own Aadhaar number, mobile number and email ID.
- Record the registration number and save the password for later use for logging in.
- Fill in personal information as it is written on the high school certificate.
- Complete education, experience information and reserve the appropriate category.

FAQs
The commission has released 78 posts. In PTCUL there are 37 Technician Grade II (Electrical) posts and in UJVNL there are 16 Electrical and 25 Mechanical posts will be there. Number of posts may be altered according to new reservation rules.
The electrical posts require Electrician trade and UJVNL also accepts Electronics trade. Mechanical post requires a Fitter trade and all the posts requires high school qualification with Science and Maths and two years experience.
All unreserved candidates and all Uttarakhand OBC candidates pay Rs. 300/-. All Uttarakhand SC, ST, EWS and disabled candidates pay Rs. 150/- and orphans are free. Due date is November 25, 2026.
