National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Executive Examination (I) 2026 notification has been released on December 10, 2025, by the Union Public Service Commission. A total of 394 vacancies—370 for male candidates and 24 for female candidates—have been listed for admission to the 157th NDA Course and the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), scheduled to begin on January 1, 2027. The subsequent written examination is slated for April 12, 2026. Unmarried male and female candidates willing to apply online for these Government Defence Jobs may do so from December 10, 2025 to December 30, 2025, up to 06:00 PM.

Selection Process
- Written tests of 900 marks (Mathematics + GAT with negative marking on one-third basis).
- Result declaration and shortlisting for SSB based on written examination.
- SSB Interview/Personality Test for 900 marks.
- Medical examination for medical and physical fitness.
- Final merit list based on written and SSB scores after consideration of medical fitness.
Selection Process
- Written Examination conducted by UPSC.
- Shortlisting of candidates based on written exam scores.
- SSB Interview assessing intelligence, personality and officer potential.
- Medical Examination for determining medical fitness.
- Final Merit List prepared based on written exam marks, SSB performance and medical results.

- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done → You will get a permanent Universal Registration Number (URN)
- Log in with URN & password
- Fill the four modules:
◦ Universal Registration (already done)
◦ Common Application Form (CAF) – includes live photo capture
◦ Examination Specific Module (NDA-I 2026) – choose centre, services preference, pay fee etc. - Upload photo, signature, photo-ID (preferably Aadhaar) and other required documents
- Submit the application (no changes allowed after submission)
- Take printout of the final submitted form
