The Jharkhand Education Project, Deoghar (under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan) has issued the KGBV Deoghar Recruitment 2025 notification, inviting applications from eligible female candidates for various teaching and non-teaching positions on a short-term contractual basis. Interested applicants must submit their forms via registered or speed post by 07th July 2025 (5:00 PM). The appointments will be made in eight Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas across Deoghar district with selection based on academic qualifications and prescribed eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria  for KGBV Deoghar Vacancy 2025

Language Instructor (Hindi/

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hindi or English with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD)
  • B.Ed. or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
  • Must have passed TET for Classes 6 to 8 (as per NCTE norms)
  • Matric and Intermediate must be passed from Jharkhand Board.
Full-time Teacher (Social Science)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD)
  • B.Ed. or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
  • Must have successfully qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for classes VI to VIII.
  • Matric and Intermediate must be passed from Jharkhand Board.
Subject Teacher – Mathematics
(Full-Time)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD)
  • B.Ed. or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
  • Must have successfully qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for classes VI to VIII.
  • Matric and Intermediate must be passed from Jharkhand Board.
Subject Teacher – Science
(Full-Time)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD)
  • B.Ed. or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
  • Must have successfully qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for classes VI to VIII.
  • Matric and Intermediate must be passed from Jharkhand Board
Physical Education Instructor –
Full-Time
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent.
  • TET is not required for this post.
  • Matric and Intermediate must be passed from Jharkhand Board.
Accountant cum Computer
Operator (Female)
  • B.Com (Hons.) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • One-year PGDCA/ DCA or equivalent computer course.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English typing.
  • Knowledge of Tally software is mandatory.
  • Matric and Intermediate must be passed from Jharkhand Board.

Pay Scale

  • Full-time Teachers (including Physical Education): Rs. 15,840 per month (fixed honorarium)
  • Accountant cum Computer Operator: Rs. 9,900 per month (fixed honorarium)
  • 50% increase in fixed honorarium after 3 years of satisfactory service
  • Annual increment of Rs. 250 for teaching posts upon contract extension
  • Annual increment of Rs. 150 for Accountant cum Computer Operator post
  • A 20% salary hike proposal for Accountant cum Computer Operator is currently under review (to be applicable upon approval)
