Selection Procedure for APPSC Recruitment 2026

  • Candidates will sit for the Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT).
  • For the Commission1 tier written examination will be conducted without screening test.
  • The test pattern will be unique for each post based on the specialization.
  • Candidates should qualify in the General English and Telugu exams in case of Horticulture Officer jobs.
  • The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) may be taken by the applicant, whichever is relevant for the post.
  • For those Government Jobs in Andhra Pradesh, the final selection will be made by APPSC considering the marks obtained in the examination.

Computer Proficiency Requirement

In the case of Assistant Environmental Engineer & Horticulture Officer positions, applicants are required to pass the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) apart from the above qualifications.

  • Duration of Test: 60 minutes
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Minimum Pass Marks: 40 for OC candidates, 35 for BC candidates and 30 for SC/ST/PBD candidates
  • This test will cover office automation, which includes word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, as well as computer basics and the Internet.
