Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited, has announced the HCSL Manager & Deputy Manager Recruitment 2025 for qualified Indian nationals. The recruitment aims to fill 4 permanent vacancies at its Howrah unit, West Bengal. Interested candidates meeting the required qualifications, experience and age criteria can apply online from 25th June 2025 to 24th July 2025. An appointment will be made permanently with an attractive salary package and allowances. Selection will be based on merit and interview.

Eligibility Criteria for HCSL Recruitment 2025

Manager (Marine & Central Services)
  • Qualification: Degree in Mechanical / Marine / Naval Architecture Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years in shipyard/dockyard maintenance, equipment handling, launching, docking and marine operations.
  • Desirable: MOT Certificate (Motor), ERP/SAP experience, AutoCAD, MS Project, good communication skills.
Deputy Manager
(Estate & Administration)
  • Qualification: MBA / Post Graduate Degree or PG Diploma in Business Administration/ Management (2 years) with minimum 60% marks.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in estate administration in PSU/ engineering/ commercial/ Govt. organizations.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of estate rules in West Bengal, ERP/ SAP, MS Office.
Deputy Manager
(Electronics)
  • Qualification: Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in shipbuilding/ repair, marine electronics systems, instrumentation, procurement, and integration.
  • Desirable: CADMATIC, AutoCAD, ERP/SAP, MS Project, good communication skills.
Deputy Manager (Mechanical)
  • Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in shipbuilding, offshore fabrication, mechanical outfitting, commissioning, or marine engineering.
  • Desirable: CADMATIC, AutoCAD, ERP/ SAP, MS Project, good communication skills.

  • Manager (E3 Grade): Max 40 Years
  • Deputy Manager (E2 Grade): Max 35 Years

Age Relaxation

  • PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): 5 years (only for applicable posts)
  • Ex-Servicemen: 10 years
  • Maximum age after all relaxations: 50 years for Manager, 45 years for Deputy Manager
