• Pay Scale: Matrix Level-14 as per TSCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017, corresponding to the pre-revised Pay Band-4 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400.

Selection Process

• The selection process comprises two stages: Written Examination (85 marks) and Interview/Personality Test (15 marks).
• Written Examination includes General Knowledge & Current Affairs (10%, 9 questions, 8.5 marks), Basic Sciences (20%, 17 questions) and Dental Specialty (70%, 59 questions).
• The examination syllabus is based on NEET MDS 2022 as per Health & Family Welfare Department Notification No. F.10(138)-DME/Syllabus Framing/2021 dated 17.02.2022.
• Interview/ Personality Test assesses intellectual ability, social traits, awareness of current affairs, critical judgment, leadership qualities and moral integrity.
• For one vacancy, five candidates are called for the interview; for two vacancies, eight candidates are called; for three or more vacancies, three times the number of vacancies are called.
• Candidates securing marks equal to the last shortlisted candidate are also eligible for the Personality Test.
• Final selection is based on the combined marks of the Written Examination (85 marks) and Interview/Personality Test (15 marks).
• In case of a tie, merit is determined by seniority of age; if still equal, the percentage of marks in the minimum educational qualification is considered.
• A waiting list is prepared following the same criteria, if required.

• Go to the “Advertisement” section and find notification titled “Advt. No-26/2025”.
• Read the complete notification carefully to ensure that the eligibility criteria to ensure this.
• To generate the user ID, register through a time profile registration (OTPR) on the TPSC website.
• Use OTPR user ID to log in and complete the online application form.
• Fill all the required details accurately.
