Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Project Jashpur under Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Chhattisgarh has announced recruitment for 01 Anganwadi Worker and 01 Anganwadi Assistant posts on honorary basis. This Latest Anganwadi Vacancy invites eligible female candidates from specified villages to apply offline in the prescribed format by October 30, 2025 by 5:00 PM. Selection Process
- The officials will verify all necessary documents and requirements, such as proof of residence, age and educational qualifications. As a result, they will reject any incomplete or late applications.
- After this, they will prepare a preliminary merit list based on the educational grades and change them if necessary.
- In addition, they will give additional marks to candidates from categories such as BPL families, SC/ST, widows, divorced or abandoned women or those with previous assistance experience.
- Later they will invite claims and objections only on the provisional list and consider them without accepting any new documents. Then, after all the requirements are cleared, they will publish the final merit list.
- Finally, they will select the candidates on the basis of merit from the final list giving preference to local residents. Since the notification does not mention any exam or interview, the officials will appoint the candidates directly on merit basis.
- Furthermore, if no qualified candidates meet the initial criteria, the authorities will gradually relax the educational qualification – for example by 10th, 8th or 5th grade – and repeat the process until they fill all available positions.
