Selection Process
- The short-listing will be based on the candidate’s educational qualification and relevant work experience.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview to be conducted by the Selection Committee of the Department of Border Management, MHA.
- Selection merit will be based on performance in the interview and the professional record as a whole.
- This appointment is for 11 months and may be extended depending on satisfactory performance and project needs.

The applicant must have a degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university and a minimum of 15 years of experience in a significant supervisory or execution role for major infrastructural projects that entail constructing roads, bridges and tunnels. Retired civil engineers and officers at Level 13 and above in the 7th CPC would also be qualified for the position. Candidates may not be older than 62 years old on or before November 25, 2025.
