Selection Process
- Preliminary merit list based on essential qualification (60% of the total marks), additional .qualification (20% of the total marks) and work experience (20% of the total marks) – maximum 100 marks.
- The number of candidates to be shortlisted from the preliminary merit list will be up to twice the number of vacancies.
- Shortlisted candidates’ original documents will be checked.
- Final merit list and appointments letters to the selected candidates.
- There will be no written examination or interview.

FAQs
Candidates need to be Indian citizens with the required education level. Graduates in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychology, Law, Public Health or Community Resource Management are desirable. Graduates with two years relevant work experience in these fields are also eligible. The applicants must be at least 18 years old and have been trained to use computers, as required by state.
Applicants are considered by merit based on scores, other credentials and work experience. There is no written test or interview. The merit list is drawn up and the next appointment is made upon receipt of certificates and papers. This is completely transparent and is a preference for candidates who have worked with children and families.
All positions are district level. Interested candidates will be posted in Jamtara district, Jharkhand at the offices of the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate (Social Security Cell), DCPU, Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board.
