GMCH Chandigarh Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview for 92 Posts
Government Medical College Chandigarh has published the official notification of GMCH Chandigarh Senior Resident Recruitment 2026. This is an exercise to recruit 92 vacant jobs of the Senior Residents, Casualty Medical Officers (CMO), Resident Anaesthetists and Resident Pathologists tenure based. Following the opportunities that are currently present in the form of Government Medical Jobs in India, the Indian nationals with the necessary post graduate qualifications will be allowed to attend the walk in interview that will take place in late January. How to Apply for GMCH Chandigarh Recruitment 2026
- Visit the official GMCH Chandigarh portal at https://gmch.gov.in
- Navigate to the “Vacancies” tab on the homepage to access the recruitment section
- Open the advertisement titled “Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant posts of SR, CMO, Resident Anesthetist & Resident Pathologist”
- Take download and print the prescribed form of application on the notification.
- Complete all the necessary personal and professional information on the application form.
- Include self-certified copies of MBBS mark sheets, postgraduate degree certificate and authentic registration of the medical council.
- Attach photos that are recent in size of a passport and valid category or reservation certificates.
- The duly filled application form should be submitted at the Branch-II of the establishment, in Block-D, GMCH-32, Chandigarh on January 21, 2026.
- The application fee of Rs. 500/- (SC candidates pay only 250/- as application fee) should be paid immediately before 11: 00 AM.
- Interview at 02:00 PM at the Office of the Director Principal, Room No. 210, Level-2, Block-D with all original documents.

Indian nationals who have a well recognized postgraduate medical degree of MD, MS, DNB, DM or M.Ch in the respective specialty. The applicants also have to be registered by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. The available applicants must not be senior resident candidates whose maximum tenure has already elapsed.
