Shortlisting Procedure for Land Records Assistant Recruitment 2026
Shortlisting will be done to the eligible candidates first who will be called to undertake a written examination of 80 marks (objective MCQ pattern) as a part of LRA Skill Test & Written Exam 2026. The written test comprises of:
- Mathematics (Class X standard) -10 marks.
- Traditional Surveying Topics – 50 marks
- Modern Surveying Techniques – 20 marks
The exam deducts 0.25 mark for every wrong answer. - Only candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks (category-wise) in the written examination will appear for the Skill Test (Computer Proficiency) of 20 marks.
- The Skill Test evaluates candidates on Assamese or Bengali Unicode typing, basic computer operations, document formatting, data entry, file handling and printing.
