Indian Railways invites the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2025 under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 01/2025 for a total of 9970 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online starting on 12th April 2025 up to 11th May 2025. Candidates need to satisfy the conditions of eligibility in the fields of education qualification, age limit and physical/ medical standards. Eligibility Criteria

Post Name Eligibility
Assistant Loco Pilot
  • 10th Class (Matriculation) with ITI Certificate in a relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT
  • 10th Class with Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile disciplines
  • B.E./B.Tech Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile Engineering
  • For detailed trade-wise eligibility, refer to the official notification.

Important Dates

  • Application Begin: April 12, 2025
  • Last Date to Apply Online: May 11, 2025

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years
  • Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules and guidelines set by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 500 (Rs. 400 refunded after CBT-I)
  • SC/ST/PH/Female: Rs. 250 (Full refund after CBT-I)

Pay Scale

  • Pay Level 2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix
  • Initial Pay: Rs. 19,900 + allowances as admissible
