Academic Incentives

  • Internship Salary: Medical or veterinary streams students can be offered a monthly allowance between Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- in their last year of training.
  • Scholarship Benefit: Students with merit are eligible to apply to state-sponsored merit scholarships up to Rs. 50,000/ – per annum to meet school fees.

  • SC / ST / Category-1 (Karnataka): Rs. 250/-

Selection Procedure for KCET Exam 2026

  • Applicants will be required to undertake a written entrance test in the form of an offline OMR based test of the 2nd PUC syllabus.
  • Applicants should carry their KEA KCET Hall Ticket 2026 to the testing centre, in order to verify their identity.
  • Candidates of Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga must pass a language proficiency test set by the state and given with a minimum of 12 marks.
  • The authority calculates merit ranks on a 50:50 basis using marks from the entrance examination and the qualifying board examination.
  • The last seat distribution is done via a centralized online counseling as in the case of Other Government Jobs in India.
