Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has issued a formal notification for the appointment of Graduate Apprentices from Non-Technical (General) categories for the assessment year 2026. This Three-Year Apprenticeship Program is organized in accordance with the rules and regulations of The Apprentices Act-1961 to offer on-the-job training to newly recruited graduates. Selection Process for IIT Bombay Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026
- The selection for these Government Jobs in Maharashtra is done on the basis of the final qualifying degree marks in percentage or CGPA.
- If candidates obtain equal marks or percentages in their qualifying exam, the institute gives preference in the merit list to the candidate who is older in age.
- Shortlisted candidates must appear in person for physical verification of original certificates on the scheduled date.
- During the training period, apprentices may avail themselves of a free primary/OPD medical facility at IIT Bombay Hospital only.
- Each selected candidate must register the contract of Apprenticeship with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (WR), Mumbai.
