Reserve Bank of India Services Board (RBISB) has issued the RBI Recruitment 2025 notification for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruit – DR) in General, DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research) and DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management). Online applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals till September 30, 2025. Candidates are required to meet the prescribed eligibility requirements in terms of education, age and experience. The appointment procedure will be made up of Phase I and Phase II tests accompanied by an interview. Successful candidates shall be employed to all sorts of offices in India.

Selection Process for RBI Grade B Recruitment 2025
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General:
- Phase-I (Online, Objective): October 18, 2025, 200 marks, 120 minutes (General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning; minimum marks required per test and aggregate).
- Phase-II (Online): December 06, 2025, 300 marks (Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues, 120 minutes, 100 marks; Paper-II: English Writing Skills, 90 minutes, 100 marks; Paper-III: General Finance and Management, 120 minutes, 100 marks).
- Interview: 75 marks (Hindi or English).
- Final Selection: Phase-II marks + Interview marks + applicable grace marks.
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR:
- Phase-I (Online): October 19, 2025 (Paper-I: Objective Economics, 120 minutes, 100 marks; Paper-II: Descriptive English, 120 minutes, 100 marks).
- Phase-II (Written): December 07, 2025 (Paper-I & II: Descriptive Economics, 120 minutes each, 100 marks each).
- Interview: 75 marks.
- Final Selection: Phase-I + Phase-II + Interview marks.
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM:
- Phase-I (Online): October 19, 2025 (Paper-I: Objective Statistics, 120 minutes, 100 marks).
- Phase-II (Written/Online): December 07, 2025 (Paper-II: Descriptive Statistics, 180 minutes, 100 marks; Paper-III: Descriptive English, 90 minutes, 100 marks).
- Interview: 75 marks.
- Final Selection: Phase-I + Phase-II + Interview marks.
