Selection Stages for RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026

• There are no Written Exam or interview for this recruitment on Railway.
• The merit list is based on the simple average of the percentage in matriculation (marks in all subjects) and the ITI percentage found in the provisional/ final certificate.
• Candidate must have a minimum aggregate of 50% in Matriculation to be in merit.
• TNC prefers older candidate. For candidates with same date of birth, it prefers the candidates with earlier matriculation date (i.e. it prefers the candidate matriculated earlier).
• The Railway prepares the final Merit, List of units-wise, trade-wise and community-wise as per available slot and not prepare a single centralized merit list.
• Those selected will have to undergo original document verification and a medical test in the unit of their choice, which will lead them to Government Jobs in Rajasthan in railway workshops.
• Any candidate not producing the originals or a discrepancy in the records will lead to debarment.

• Vision Rule: One eyed candidates can train in most trades and colour vision is not necessary.
• PwBD Categories: Only locomotor disability or cerebral palsy of 40% or more, low vision, hearing impairment 60 decibels or more and multiple disabilities.
• Disability Certificate: Issued in the prescribed annexure format issued by a medical board constituted by the Central or a State Government;
• Other Disabilities: Candidates with other disabilities should not apply for PwBD posts.
