- 40% of marks obtained in Graduation.
- 40 marks for the Diploma in Music Training.
- 10 marks for Interview.
- 10 marks for Experience: 2 marks for 6 months – 1 year; maximum 10 marks up to 5 years.
- Final decision by the Selection Committee.

Previous experience in music teaching or training would be an added qualification but is not an eligibility requirement in terms of qualifications.
