Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has given the notification of the UP Police Computer Operator Recruitment 2025-26 of 1352 vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. Selection Process
- The 200 mark OMR-based written examination will be on General Knowledge, Reasoning and Computer Science.
- Applicants should pass typing test Hindi 25 WPM, English 30 WPM.
- The verification of the documents will be done on educational certificates, reservation proofs and other essential documents.
- Medical fitness will guarantee the candidates are physically and mentally fit.
- The normalized written exam marks will be taken as the final merit list on passing typing test and medical test.

Applicants should have successfully passed Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics and DOEACC O-Level certification or computer/IT/Electronics diploma. The age restriction will be 1828 years as of July 1, 2025 with exemptions of reserved categories. This is open to both male and female applicants as long as they qualify in terms of nationality, character and physical fitness.
It has a written exam of 200 marks after which a qualifying typing test in Hindi and English is administered. The shortlisted candidates then go through document checks and a medical check. Normalized marks of the written exam are then compiled to create the final merit list to be fair to the various sessions of the exams.
The internet application window will be open on December 16, 2025, and will close on January 15, 2026. The payment of fee should also be made during this period and fee can be adjusted till January 18, 2026. It is recommended that the applicants should register in time to prevent technical problems at last moment.
