Age Limitations
- Retirement Age: The retirement age is controlled according to the policies formulated by the Government of Odisha.

FAQs
As per UGC 2026 the eligibility rules/guidelines are being determined by UGC (University Grants Commission) 2018 and basically one must have a Masters Degree with at least 55% marks. Apart from this either PhD or NET is needed for one to be qualified for Assistant Professor in Odisha.
You can apply online by the May 12, 2026 by going to the HIMS portal. Apart from this, you must submit a self-attested copy of the filled in application form and other certificates by Registered/Speed Post to the registrar of Jeypore before June 20, 2026.
To evaluate the candidates, the university uses the Academic Performance Indicators (API) scores and academic results. Applicants who qualify are further requested for a personal interview that is conducted by the selection committee.
