ICF Apprentice Recruitment 2025 is the skill-development program of the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. The factory is a production unit of the ministry of railways Government of India. ICF trains thousands of young applicants annually under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the applicants are taught skills required to become technicians and professionals in the rail manufacturing and services.
This year’s recruitment is offering 1010 apprentice seats across different trades for ITI-qualified and non-ITI (10th pass) candidates and includes trades such as fitter, welder, electrician, machinist, carpenter, etc.

Is There a Written Exam or Interview?
No exam is required. Shortlisting of candidates is done by merit. In the ex-ITI candidates, both Class 10 and ITI scores will be taken into account, whereas in the case of freshers, only the Class 10 score will be considered.
Syllabus & Preparation Tips
There is no exam needed but the applicants have to show some basic technical competence to be eligible for their training.
For ITI Candidates:

Stipend Details

Other allowances are not given but the training is free and offers some practical industrial experience.
