The Leh Autonomous Hill Development-Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (LAHD-SSRB), under the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for various district cadre posts as per Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2025. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria, including domicile, educational qualifications, age limit and experience, are encouraged to apply online by 24th August 2025. Work Experience
- General Requirement: No specific work experience is required unless mentioned in the Recruitment Rules for the post.
- Specific Posts:
- Posts like Deputy Forester, Wildlife Guard and Wildlife Forester require physical fitness (e.g., 25 km walk in 4 hours).
- Steno Typist and Junior Assistant require typing/shorthand skills or computer proficiency.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: OMR-based test with 100 multiple-choice questions (General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language). A penalty of 0.25 marks will be applied for every wrong answer.
- Skill Tests (where applicable): Physical Efficiency Test (e.g., for Forester posts), Type Test (e.g., for Steno Typist, Junior Assistant). These are qualifying in nature.
- Final Nomination: Candidates nominated to departments based on merit and preferences.
- Appointment: Issued by the concerned department after verification of eligibility, antecedents and character.
