Posted on: August 14, 2025Under the Border Security Force (BSF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has announced 2025 for the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in Group ‘C’ (non-gazetted). Appointments will be made permanent as per the BSF communication set-up recruitment rules, 2016. Candidates will have to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria including educational qualification, age limit and physical standards. The selection will be based on physical tests, computer-based tests (CBT) and document verification/medical examination.

Selection Process
- First Phase: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for both male and female candidates.
- Second Phase: Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 200 marks covering Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English and General Knowledge with negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Third Phase: Document Verification and Medical Examination; Head Constable (Radio Operator) candidates will also undergo a Dictation Test of 50 marks and a Paragraph Reading Test.

- Go to the “Recruitment” section and find the BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2025 announcement.
- Carefully read the complete notification to check eligibility.
- Perform One-Time Registration (OTR) by filling in personal information, mobile number, email ID and uploading scanned documents of photograph (30–100 KB), signature (20–50 KB) and certificates (30–100 KB) in JPG/JPEG/PNG/PDF format.
- Complete the online form, choosing the post(s) (HC/RO, HC/RM or both) and indicating post preference if applying for both.
- Upload educational, category and other relevant certificates as per the prescribed format.
