The Sub-Divisional Office, Muzaffarpur East (Supply Branch), Government of Bihar, invites application for Government Jobs in Bihar through the recruitment of Public Distribution System (PDS) dealers. This recruitment is for 253 vacancies in different blocks and urban wards of Muzaffarpur East Subdivision, as per the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 and its amendment in the year 2022. Selection Process

• The authorities will scrutinize the applications and publish a provisional merit list.
• Candidates can submit objections within two weeks from the release of the provisional merit list.
• The authorities will review the objections within 15 days and publish the final merit list.
• Candidates may file appeals with the Divisional Commissioner, Tirhut Division within 15 days of the final merit list.
• The Divisional Commissioner will decide the appeals.
• The authorities will issue licenses after completing the appeals process and delivering the final decision.

How to Apply for PDS Dealer Recruitment 2025

• Download Schedule-1 (for the individual) or Schedule-2 (for SHGs) from the Sub-Divisional Office, Muzaffarpur East or from www.muzaffarpur.nic.in and check for eligibility.
• Complete the form properly, pasting three passport-size photographs (one with self-attest) on it.
• The self-attested photocopies of documents should be provided: Matriculation certificate, educational certificate, computer knowledge skill, residence certificate, Aadhaar card, SC/ST/EBC/BC non-creamy layer caste certificate, EWS and character certificate (not more than 6 months old).
• Self-attested property documents (Khatiyan/Kewala, Rent receipt, Lease Agreement) to provide.
• The applicant must submit an affidavit stating that no family member holds a PDS license and that he/she has never faced conviction for any offence, has not been declared bankrup and does not hold government employment, run a flour mill or serve as an elected representative.
• SHGs must provide at least one year’s proof of formation, along with their bank account details, election proceedings, grading documents and caste certificates, if applicable.
• Keep the original application in sealed envelope sent through Registered/Speed Post to Licensing Authority, Muzaffarpur East, Collectorate Campus, Muzaffarpur, Bihar, PIN-842001, marking: Ad No: 01/2025-26 and Panchayat/Block/Ward on or before November 4, 2025, 5:00 PM; keep a copy with you. Applications received late shall be treated as incomplete and rejected.
