Selection Process
- Selection will be based on merit, determined by marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- In case of equal marks, preference will be given to candidates with higher age.
- Selected candidates will be informed via their registered email ID.
- Results will be displayed on www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in.
- Candidates must undergo document verification and be declared medically fit as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

- Go to the section in ‘Career’ under which ‘Advertisement regarding engagement of apprentices’ can be viewed in ‘Apprenticeship Opportunities’.
- Since October 16, 2025, visit https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in to register under the NAPS portal for trades Sl. No. 1-29.
- For trades Sl. No. 30-39, register at the NATS portal, https://nats.education.gov.in starting October 17, 2025.
- Check the eligibility as per qualification(Para D) and domicile (Annexure 1).
- Fill all the details correctly in the online application form.
- Upload the required documents (like educational certificates, photographs, signatures).
- Submit the application and keep a hard copy for self-reference.
- Application made through post shall not be entertained.

The ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025 is one of the rounds of recruitment to engage 2623 apprentices in various disciplines across the nation under the ONGC Board and will ultimately aim to train the apprentice in skill development using various trades, including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and IT.
