Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has published announcement UPPSC Various Posts Recruitment-2025, by which qualified Indian nationals are invited to apply for the above posts. Reader (Ayurveda)
  • 5 years Degree in Ayurveda from recognized university.
  • 7 years teaching experience (5 years with PG).
  • Working knowledge of Hindi, English, Sanskrit.
  • Preferential: PG qualification, research publications.
Professor (Ayurveda)
  • 5 years Degree in Ayurveda.
  • 10 years teaching (8 years with PG) including 3 years as Reader.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi, English, Sanskrit.
  • Preferential: PG, research publications.
Lecturer Sanskrit
  • M.A. in Sanskrit (1st class) or Acharya in Vyakaran/Sanskrit Sahitya (1st class).
  • 3 years teaching experience.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi & English.
  • Preferential: Ph.D in Sanskrit, research publications.
Inspector
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years continuous service in ministerial posts under Govt.
  • Preferential: Training in O&M, Diploma in Public Administration, 3 years supervisory
    experience.
Reader (Homoeopathy)
  • PG in Homoeopathy with 4 years teaching as Asst. Professor/ Lecturer.
  • For Organon/Repertory: Experience as Supervisor/Guide
Professor (Unani)
  • 5 years Degree in Unani.
  • 10 years teaching (8 years with PG) including 3 years as Reader.

Selection Process

  • For many vacancies that attract large applicant numbers, an objective-type preliminary screening test carrying negative marking (with a penalty of 1/3 for each wrong answer) is conducted.
  • Candidates who qualify the screening will proceed to the main written exam that deals with specific subjects, teaching experience and general awareness.
  • Candidates shortlisted from the written exam will be interviewed to assess their professional knowledge, communication skills and overall fitness for the position.
  • Post-verification of all original certificates and claims (age, qualification, category etc.) are then done after the interview for confirming eligibility.
  • These selected candidates will be based on marks obtained in the written exam plus the interview with reservations as per norms.

How to Apply for UPPSC Recruitment 2025

  • Visit the official UPPSC website at https://uppsc.up.nic.in
  • Under the Recruitment section, check the Online Notification for “Direct Recruitment” D-2/E-1/2024 ,
    15/10/2025.
  • If you have not done the One Time Registration (OTR) at least 72 hours before applying then do it here – https://otr.pariksha.nic.in.
  • Click on “All Notifications/Advertisements” > Apply > authenticate with OTR.
  • Fill in personal details, qualifications and pay the fee through SBI MOPS (Net Banking/Card/Other).
  • Take a printout of the online application.
  • The hard copy must be mailed with self-attested documents (either by registered/speed post or by hand) to the UPPSC office by December 2, 2025 (05:00 PM). Paste an auto-filled address slip on the A-4 envelope.
  • Editing of forms may be carried out for the Candidate Dashboard until November 25, 2025.
  • Review and submit the form. Take prints for your future reference.
