AIIMS Patna Senior Residents Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interview for 103 Posts
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has invited applications for the recruitment for Senior Residents (Non-Academic) on bargain terms for 89 days, across various departments. Eligible candidates are invited to attend the Walk-in Interview from November 24 to 26, 2025, as per the eligibility criteria. The recruitments consist of backlog vacancies where 4% horizontal reservation has been provided for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs). One post in select departments is earmarked for PwBDs. Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Interview according to the schedule.
- Candidates must provide valid phone numbers and email IDs for communication.
- Only candidates who have completed less than 3 years of Senior Residency are eligible.
- We will count qualification and experience up to the date of the interview.

How to Apply for AIIMS Recruitment 2025
- Visit the official AIIMS Patna website at https://aiimspatna.edu.in/
- In the Opportunities section, search for the Recruitment Notice “F-127239/SR – (Ad-hoc.) Rectt./2025”.
- Make sure you fulfill the eligibility criteria regarding qualifications, upper age limit and category-wise reservations (UR candidates can apply against reserved seats in case category candidates do not turn up).
- Put in order, necessary documents: recent passport size photographs, Aadhaar Card, DOB/SSC certificate, MBBS/MD/MS/DNB degree certificates, NMC registration, category/PwBD certificate (if applicable), experience/NOC and DD (if applicable). Carry both the originals and self-attested copies.
- At 09:00 AM on the scheduled date, the candidate shall report to E-classroom, Administrative Building, AIIMS Patna (Phulwarisharif, Patna – 801507) for the filling of forms.
- Fill the application form carefully (no change will be allowed once submitted) and submit along with documents and fees.
- The interview would commence at 10:00 AM in the Committee Room, Administrative Building.
- The website should be checked from time to time for results and updates. Selected candidates have to join within the stipulated time and will undergo a medical fitness check.
FAQs
Candidates are expected to have a recognized postgraduate degree, i.e. MD, MS, DNB, DM or M.Ch from affiliated medical colleges in the relevant departments. In addition to other eligibility criteria, they should have less than three years of Senior Residency. Furthermore, candidates should have valid identity and qualification documents evidencing the dates presented on the day of the interview.
Candidates cannot apply online or will need to do so directly on the Walk-in Interview days. Eligible candidates must appear directly on the Walk-in Interview days with original documents and self-attested documents. These candidates also will apply at the walk-in venue and make payment by Demand Draft. Applications without appropriate documents will be rejected.
The final appointments will be made based solely on performance during the Walk-in Interview process. Please review the qualification, experience and age limits pre-requisites. If candidates have equal WCMark scores, then older candidates will win. Final rankings or appointments will be based on this scheme.
