Government of West Bengal, district magistrate and collector, paschim bardhaman has made the announcement of the recruitment of one (1) part time guest teacher (PGT in Education) at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Raghunathpur, PO – Bonkati, PS – Kanksa, District – Paschim Bardhaman. It is a one-year contractual agreement that is temporary in nature and under Paschim Banga Adibasi Kalyan-o-Siksha Parishad (PBAKOSP), a registered society. Indian citizens with the necessary academic qualifications and eligible to apply to Government Teaching Jobs in India are encouraged to place hardcopy applications between November 27, 2025 and December 12, 2025 (up to 4 PM) on working days. A priority will be allocated to the local people. The criteria to be used in selection will be academic qualification and interviewing.

Selection Process

  • Evaluating, shortlisting and selecting applicants based on their level of education and supporting documents.
  • Interviewing applicants in person using the District Selection Committee as the source of interviews.
  • Compiling the final merit list of all applicants based on a combination of their educational qualifications and interview results.
  • Verifying all documentation submitted by the selected candidates, determining their medical fitness prior to contract signing.

  • Click “Notice”and click on “Recruitment” on the home page.
  • You may download the entire notification/ advertisement under the heading, “Engagement of Education Guest Teacher at EMRS” for your information and to access the application format.
  • Complete the application form in capital letters and sign the application.
  • Affix a recent colour photo of you with a white background.
  • You will need to attach self-certified copies of your age, residency, educational qualifications (mark sheets, certificates) and a caste certificate, only if you qualify and any experience certificates you may have.
  • You are to submit your completed application in person via hard copy only, to the Drop Box at the office of the Block Development Officer (BDO), Kanksa, in Paschim Bardhaman.
  • The application window is open from November 27, 2025 to December 12, 2025 until 4:00 PM on the specified days.
